About

I am a Fashion & Branding student at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), currently on exchange at the University of Sydney. My work explores branding, communications, and creative strategy through the lens of fashion, culture, and design. I’m particularly interested in how brands can build meaningful connections with audiences while balancing creativity with sustainability.

Having grown up between Kuala Lumpur, Australia, Singapore, and Amsterdam, my perspective is shaped by an international and multicultural upbringing. These experiences continue to influence my approach to storytelling, branding, and visual communication, encouraging me to think across cultures and contexts.

My creative work is heavily inspired by skateboarding and the subcultures surrounding it. Skateboarding embraces individuality, experimentation, and creative freedom—values that continue to shape both my design practice and personal philosophy. I was fortunate to represent Malaysia in skateboarding at the Asian Games (2018) and SEA Games (2019), an experience that continues to inform my understanding of youth culture, community, and identity. Today, I focus on applying that same spirit of creativity and authenticity to branding, strategy, and design.
